“i am joey”

I finished four years of classes in the University of Lethbridge, June 2008 working toward a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, majoring in New Media. During my study I learned all aspects of digital art, including 3D animation, graphic design, web building, flash animation, film production, writing for new media and photography (digital as well as dark-room).  

To complete the degree I had a 300 hour internship program where I came to Montreal in the summer of 2008 where I interned at a boutique called Ko Clothes on Pins, just off of the St. Laurent. The summer was filled with promotional work, photo shoots, and building a small website.  I ended the work in September and have since been doing freelance part- time photo editing at home, while also learning the French language.

I am always interested in new work paths and opportunities in the creative field.  In the next coming days I finally will be getting the internet at home- yay! and will be able to keep this portfolio blog up to date as it should be with new photos and at-home sketches and design work.
